Pay for your CSA using your SNAP (food stamp) benefits!
Pay for your CSA using your SNAP (food stamp) benefits!
You can use your SNAP (food stamp) benefits to pay for you CSA! Just read the instructions, fill out the form below and hit submit to reserve your share.
How it works: When you register for a CSA share with SNAP benefits, you pay a $50 registration fee when you sign up, then monthly payments throughout the CSA season. Payments are automatically withdrawn from your EBT account. The amount of each monthly payment depends on the size of share, add-ons, and amount of Double Up Food Bucks you are eligible for.
‘Double Up Food Bucks’ (DUFB): This program matches the amount of SNAP benefits used to pay for Main Season CSA shares up to a $250 limit, Fall and Winter Season CSA shares up to a $100 limit. The bread and berry CSA add-ons are eligible for EBT payment and DUFB as well. DUFB funding is limited, so sign up as soon as possible to ensure you get this awesome benefit!
